Mechanika - place for repairing stuff

Mechanika is a repair shop where you can take your broken appliances. I was amazed of how my thinking changed. Now, if something is broken it means that we need to buy something new. I completely forgot that it is possible to fix it. For the fraction of the cost. And it has the old 80s feel inside. Not much changed since then. Even though they repair the new stuff as well.

Google Chrome took over Prague

Right after New Year, Google Chrome took over Prague. There are ads for it everywhere. And I mean literally everywhere.

Is it just here in Prague or do you see the same pattern in your city? I really wonder...

The gastronomically odd high school entrance

Entrance to the Gastronomy and business high school. I think it looks just like the folding cup we had when we were kids :)

Tree storing option

Isn't this a great solution to a tree storing problem? :) This was, obviously, taken just a few days before Christmas.

And while speaking of Christmas, here is another photo from about the same time, but this time from Bratislava with its UFO restaurant over the New bridge :)

Czech Apples and Hello Kitty in the bin

100% Czech Apples :) I like the little flags. It's like they are representing our country, the same way as ice hockey players do :)

Which reminded me of this photo.

... and another after-Christmas relic. The Hello Kitty calendar in the bin. It was sweet while it lasted :)
