New Year's Eve at Old Town square

Continuing of the New Year's Eve quest. This is Old Town square's music stage. 4 hours 15 minutes before New Year. I know the music band playing was a famous one and a good one, too :) But I really can't remember which one. Just ran through the crowd singing their song.

Chair, snow and Old town square

This is Old town square and in the middle under the lamp is the snow. And on the snow is a chair with a view :) Only thing is that it is occupied almost all the time. Everybody wants a picture while sitting here :) I guess the snow is mostly gone by now.

Old Town square getting ready for Christmas

This is from the last week when Old Town square was getting ready for Christmas. It's full of lights, stands and people now. And it's quite pretty :)

I was in Zilina, which is in Slovakia, from Friday and I have to tell you that it is an amazing city. Even though I actually spent only about an hour in the city itself. I will definitely visit it again, this time just as a tourists to enjoy it :)

Prague Orloj and Old Town square

Well, this is it: Prague Orloj at Old Town square. Ten minutes after The Walk of the Apostles. Fifty minutes to the next show. There' s a lot of information on this Astronomical clock... but only for those who know. Like guys at Wikipedia :) Just read more about Prague Orloj there.

Full house every hour - Prague Orloj

There's a crowd every hour. Everybody wants to see how Prague Orloj, or Prague Astronomical Clock, at Old Town square works. It is quite spectacular if you keep in mind that all that show is here since the 15th century.

Near Prague's biggest public library at Marianske square

The Prague's biggest public library is here at Marianske square. And you can see Church of Our Lady in front of Týn - one of the dominants of Old Town square - from here, too.

Mercedes at Prague's Old Town

Under Church of Our Lady in front of Týn and with Old Town square at the end of this street. Quite a nice place to park your car :)

There's a classic music shop in this street. They play this music all day long. Pretty loud. So you can enjoy centuries old architecture of Prague with centuries old music. But not many people stop here. It's just a quick way to get to Old Town square.
