Saturday breakfast

Breakfast in a park? Why not :) Kakna discovered this cute little park first so big thanks to her! This one is from last week when we still had at least a bit of sunshine in Prague. It's so cold now.

Prumyslovy palac at Holesovice exhibition grounds

Fire destroyed the left wing last week. And people keep coming here to see it. This one is from Saturday before they started the cleaning. It's kinda sad. I remember so many exhibitions here including few of our own. I think they will use the central part and the right wing now. Until they build the left wing again. Yes, that is their plan. Wonder how it will look like.
PS: Here's the same story at Kakna's Prague.

Old Town

In this small street, we used to sit and draw during our art class at elementary school. There wasn't any restaurants then.

Uhelny trh square

... and the big white building is my old elementary school. We had a lovely Saturday in Prague, as you can see. Well, it was a lovely Friday in Bratislava yesterday, too. Hope you're all enjoying the weekend!

02 Arena, former Sazka Arena and cheap Velvias

O2 Arena, former Sazka Arena. A place where all the big concerts in Prague happen.
And a quick tip for you in Prague using medium format film cameras. Go to Ultralab in Vladislavova street, ask for box with 50Kc films (I mentioned it here before) and you have a big chance to find medium format Fuji Velvias here. Expiration date is 10/2008 and they are kept in the refrigerator, of course.

Street art at Liben

I think this guy sits here since august or so when there was a graffiti exhibition in Prague streets. Still, he looks really good.
Also, Sunday is the last day of Designblok in Prague and I recommend to visit it. Shame it's impossible for me to go there. Anybody else working on Sunday?

Wenceslas square

The photo's without description but since there's so many of you photographing in all the places on the Earth, you might be interested in helping with this ubiquity project. Or, at least, you can view Gonzale's photos.

1968

Victims of Soviet invasion of Czechoslovakia in the summer of 1968. I heard some stories from my older friends and family and it is still beyond my imagination. This is part of the bigger installation to commemorate the invasion in the upper part of Wenceslas square right in front the National Museum.
