this is the most boring Prague photos website on the internet. But as it acts as a sort of my personal photo diary, I guess it is ok :)
This started in 2007 (yes, that is sooo long ago you might not even be born yet). It has a therapeutic effect for me. Just wondering through Prague, observing, and giving a reasion for that wondering and observing by taking photos and putting them on blogger (which was cool in 2007).
Most of the photographs have a story that is behind them. Literally behind - meaning the real story was my life at that time, not what was in front of the camera. Sometimes I share that, most of the times not. But I remember.
The cameras... I have a thing for them. Usually having several of them, dreaming of owning more. And then not shooting with any one. And them selling them at a great loss :) Great skill to have :) When I was younger I was taking my Canon 300D with me everywhere, all the time. 20 years later I fell in love with Ricoh GR, because if fits in my back pocket and I can again take it with me everywhere, all the time. My most loved analog camera is Canon 50E; it feels like it is connected to my brain when using it.
Can you tell that this is more about photography and the process of taking the photos than about Prague? :)
Still, Prague is important, too. I was born there, and I still live there. For over 40 years. Prague is this interesting city. It is hard to find a reason to move somewhere else. It's a "big" city, but then feeling small, compared to Paris, Rome, Berlin... It's quite safe. The public transport is perfect. It's not extremly expensive. It has a lot of green spaces. It is not boring. It has structure. It also transformed soo much in the last years and is transforming right now.
So, that's the quick "about".
Glad we had a chance to meet, although just in this one-way way.
