Those all are the people who were lazy with their taxes

People waiting with tax declarations in Jindrisska post office, Prague
On the other hand they still had 3 more hours to send their tax declaration when I took this photo (yep, it was 9 pm today and you have to send it before midnight). There are rumors that last year there were people in Jindrisska post office at 10 pm just starting filling the forms. Personally I think those are not rumors...

Well, good thing is that due to changes in Czech tax law I had to pay much much less then I had expected = more money to buy unnecessary things :)

Friday night's post office queue

Prague - post office queue
Here you can clearly see who does taxes at the last moment. February would have ten more days and there will still be a queue of last-timers. On the other hand they all have three more hours to midnight so nothing to worry about. And yes, I stayed in this line today, too. Thanks God for nonstop post office.

Find a good bank in Prague by the cars standing by

There's a good way to find yourself a bank. Just look at the cars its customers have. So this is my new bank :)

Garden Restaurant at Slovansky Dum

Garden Restaurant at Slovansky Dum
Garden restaurant at Slovansky dum. I don't know why but every time I go through there (this is a quick way to get from Jindrisska street to Na Prikopech street) I have the same feeling as when I was going along the restaurants at France's Cap d'Agde promenade. Really don't know why. There's no sea, even no fish restaurants. Just the feel of this place is the same - maybe it's that holiday great spent evening feel which is the same here.

Nobody in Prague knows more about your money than folks working here

This is the entry to the Prague 1's tax office on Stepanska street. A lot of people was sending them their quarterly VAT tax forms. I knew it because I saw the same address on their letters at the post office while I was sending ours :)

We have a really beautiful main post office at Prague (at Jindrisska street). I have an inside picture of it ... somewhere. I'll try to find it. Well, you can see it on Wikipedia - all four pictures are from Prague's main post office. It is forbidden to take pictures here :)
And, finally, an outside photo in one older post: "Prague's biggest post office"
