Had to take this because when else do you catch a lonely stranger in a lonely Old Town street with Czech flag above that all.

Radotin train station

Radotin train station is the last train station when you're leaving Prague to the South.

The train bridge over Vltava river in the southern part of Prague, on the left bank, in the district called Smichov.

Dancing house during sunset

Walk along Vltava river is a good choice for a weekend afternoon. Here passing by Dancing house.

Mercedes C in Prague backstreet

One more day with cars in Prague's streets. This is close to Narodni trida street. There's a school for publicists in the entrance on the right and a secondhand bookshop on the left. And the car is from Austria - based on the licence plate.

Mercedes S and U Purkmistra restaurant

At the corner with Vodickova street there is U Purkmistra restaurant. It is not obvious on the small picture - just click on it to see it bigger - but the restaurant has the same front grill as that Mercedes. See? :)

Porsche 911 and U Klenotnika Hotel

Well, you kind of can't see it on this black and white picture but the Porsche was absolutely green. And I'm talking #0F0 green (for those of you who do some web coding :)
The street is called Rytirska and there's a lot of good and popular cafes.

V Jame street and The Icon Hotel

V Jame street connects two big streets leading to Wenceslas square: Vodickova and Stepanska street. Interesting thing in this street is The Icon Hotel. Just look at its webpage to see how beautiful it is :)

Escalators at Narodni trida station

Escalators at Narodni trida metro station. It must have been late because there's usually more than one person.
And here's the opposite view.

Dinosaur at Palladium shopping center

There were dinosaurs in Palladium. But I'd like to tell you something different. See the Coffeeheaven shop? It's a Central European answer to Starbucks. And you know what, we're getting the first Starbucks in Prague now. It'll be under Prague castle, near Charles bridge. Really a great location. They are planning the second shop for summer I think. It is going to be close to this Coffeeheaven - also in Palladium shopping center.

Strange house in Radotin

This house just looked strange to me. Well, it looks quite normal on the photo, now. This is in Radotin, in the southern part of Prague.

Parizska street during Christmas

One from Christmas season. This is Parizska street with all the lights on all the trees.

New Year's Eve at Old Town square

Continuing of the New Year's Eve quest. This is Old Town square's music stage. 4 hours 15 minutes before New Year. I know the music band playing was a famous one and a good one, too :) But I really can't remember which one. Just ran through the crowd singing their song.

New Year's Eve at Wenceslas square

This is Wenceslas square 4 hours and 25 minutes before New Year. The two big screens showed what was going on the main stage. And all of that was also broadcast live on our biggest commercial television Nova.

Chair, snow and Old town square

This is Old town square and in the middle under the lamp is the snow. And on the snow is a chair with a view :) Only thing is that it is occupied almost all the time. Everybody wants a picture while sitting here :) I guess the snow is mostly gone by now.

Facing St. Longin (with snow)

From the days we had snow in Prague. This is at a playground of a nearby school facing a rotunda/church of St. Longin from the 12th century. It might not be so comfy with that snow. But if you do want to sit on snow, there's even a better place. I'll show you tomorrow :)

Manes and Dancing house

Manes tower on the left, Dancing house on the right (the one with a ball on the roof). If I remember it right our former president Vaclav Havel lived in this street before our velvet revolution and the state police was looking into his flat from the tower to see who visits him and what they are doing. The "watching place" is still inside it although devastated. As is the whole tower. It needs restoration very badly.

Look who i saw today

I didn't expect to meet this man. And there were even a bunch of them. On the street, packing their "things". At the corner with Wenceslas square. They were returning to Brno after their job.

Winter sale at Bata

You actually don't need winter shoes when you live in Prague. But you can still buy some. Why not when they're half-priced in Bata store :)

First year of Prague DP is over

First year of Prague Daily Photo is over. I hope there'll be at least another one :)

If you've ever thought about starting your "daily photo", do it! It is great :)

And, well, we have snow in Prague from yesterday.

At Church of St. Jilji

Wall close to church of St. Jilji in Husova street which goes from Prague Municipal library at Marianske square to metro station at Narodni trida street.

Tesco store at Narodni trida street

Stairs inside Tesco store at Narodni trida street as seen from the tram stop "Narodni trida". This store was called "Maj" (that's "May" in English :) many many years ago and some people still call it with this name. But there's not many of those, who remember.

Ticket control at Mustek metro station

Those guys standing upstairs were checking transport tickets. If you're in Prague and if you're going through Mustek metro station I recommend to have a valid ticket. They are checking it here almost all the time.

Speaking of public transport. If you need help with anything regarding Prague public transport (tickets, how to get somewhere, etc.) you can call free phone number (00420) 800 19 18 17 and they will answer your questions. I saw their ad in a tram yesterday and since it was written in English you don't have to speak Czech to get helped.

One from Charles Bridge

Night walks in Prague are really nice. But only if you aren't in a hurry and have warm clothes. Especially the latter helps a lot.

Hi from Malostranske square

Malostranske square in a Christmassy reflection. It's actually quite a small square. But it is literally between Prague Castle and Charles bridge so it's quite important, too.
