From Libeň to Holešovice and Stromovka

The train connections between some of the Prague's train stations are quite good. It takes 6 minutes from Libeň to Holešovice by train while you have to take tram, bus and another tram to get there not by train.

Also, dogs can travel for free in trains and other public transport :)

Then you arrive here at Nádraží Holešovice - this is quite new part with those office buildings and by the river promenade.

With Trojský bridge views.

And option to promedane all the way to Stromovka... and enter it from the back.

Prague train station and holidays in the Czech Republic

Prague main train station. And as much as I am fascinated by traveling, this fascinate me all the time :)




Holidays in Czech Republic or Slovakia. We used to go for a "local" holidays every summer when we were kids. What a pity we don't now.

Radotin train station is the last train station when you're leaving Prague to the South.

Smichovske nadrazi train station in Prague

Although I had my way through Smichovske nadrazi station (bus and metro) every day since my 5th class at elementary school today was my first time seeing it from this perspective. Sure, it was a total coincidence. Actually, this isn't the main part of Smichovske nadrazi train station. The platforms are to the left where there's a bunch of other rails. And more to the left is the bus station and metro entrance. Even more to the left is Smichov's McDonald and just a little even more left is Vltava river. On the other side there's the new highway. It really speeds up driving through Prague. But you must be careful about your speed. They are evaluating the average speed you have over the whole section of this road and if you go faster you get the ticket. (FYI the speed limit is 70 km/h in here, that's about 44 mph ... isn't it interesting that conversion between km and miles is the same as the 1.6 crop factor on Canon cameras :)
